How do I disable UEFI boot?

In this guide, we will show you how to disable UEFI boot in your BIOS settings.

This will help you with incorrect NHOS boot and out of memory error.

Please note that the UEFI setting may be located in a different location and named differently in the BIOS, depending on your motherboard manufacturer and BIOS version. We will try to cover most manufacturers.

ASUS motherboard 

  1. Reload your rig and login BIOS by pressing the button repeatedly OF or F2 while loading the rig 
  2. If you are in EZ Modeclick F7 to open Advanced Mode
  3. Click the tab Boat > CSM (Compatibility Support Module)
  4. Specify Enabled On the contrary Launch CSM .
  5. Click the tab Exit and then Save Changes & Reset

MSI motherboard

  1. Reload your rig and login BIOS by pressing the button repeatedly OF or F2 while loading the rig 
  2. If you are in EZ Modeclick F7 to open Advanced Mode
  3. Go to the menu Settings> Boot
  4. Specify Legacy + UEFIfor boot mode select
  5. Go back to Settings and then Save & Exit

Gigabyte motherboard

  1. Reload your rig and login BIOS by pressing the button repeatedly OF or F2 while loading the rig 
  2. If you are in EZ Modeclick F2 to open Advanced mode
  3. Click the tab BIOS > CSM Support
  4. Specify Enabled for CSM Support
  5. Click the tab Save & Exit Tab select Save & Exit Setup

ASRock motherboard

  1. Reload your rig and login BIOS by pressing the button repeatedly OF or F2 while loading the rig 
  2. Click the tab Boat > CSM (Compatibility Support Module)
  3. Enable the setting CSM
  4. Click the tab Exit and then Save Changes And Exit
